J. of Queensland L of C Records Office Warwick Qld and post marked "FIELD POST OFFICE/10 MAR 44" with Four Page single-sided YMCA letter from Sgt McAuliffe B.A., N.G. L of C Records Office (AIF), New Guinea Force and dated 9th March 1944 where he (Ben) bemoans the fact that "it (New Guinea) has one serious drawback - there is no bar, at this very moment I could polish off a gallon with out any trouble".
