| "ALOTAU/1/16JA78/PNG" (Milne Bay Province) on 10t Tifalmin Hunter on cover to Henley Beach S.A. Opened 17 August 1966 as Cameron changed to Alotau on 01 July 1977. Postmarker AL-3 was put into use on 1 July 1977 as part of the programme to eliminate date stamps inscribed "T" (Territory). AL-3 was removed from use on 2 September 1991 due to wear. It was used primarily for cancelling mail.
