| "KIETA/3 30PM/1 JUN/1972/T.P. & N.G./7 Wavy Lines" (North Solomons Province) (First Day New Postmarker) on 7c Sia Dancer on plain cover to Henley Beach S.A.. Postmarker KT-6 was used in a Pitney Bowes Model K hand-operated postmarking machine placed in use on 1 June 1972. Wavy lines cancellations - "killer bars" - were used initially.
