(West New Britain Province) (First Day New Postmarker) and Registration label "R/KIMBE/NO. 3571/T.P. & N.G." on 30c Dendrolagus goodfellowi and 7c Bartering Fish and Vegetables on registered "RECOMMENDE" cover to Henley Beach S.A. with backstamps "RELIEF NO. 9", LAE", "MELBOURNE", "ADELAIDE" and "HENLEY BEACH". RELIEF CDS R-9 was used from 1 November 1971 to 24 March 1972 in advance of KZ-2 and with a possible overlap of one week. Increased postal business probably made a second CDS necessary.
