Sydney: Original Redfern Railway Station 1906

Real photo postcard by J. Hill featuring the Southern Elevation of the original Redfern Railway Station (with demolition workers?), Sydney, New South Wales.

This station was the terminus of the Sydney Railway system since 1855, and replaced by Central Station in 1906. The name 'Redfern' was transferred to the station on Lawson Street which had previously borne the name of Eveleigh.

Used to Tasmania. Condition as shown, creased top left corner, rounded corners.
