| PNG Postmark 1976 (May) KAR KAR (MADANG) (Registered)(Possible Error)

| Cover with "MADANG/-4MY76/PAPUA NEW GUINEA" and Registration Label "R/KAR KAR/NO. 17735 (Madang Province) and red "R" in circle on 10t West Sepik District and 30t Shark Snaring to Henley Beach S.A. with backstamps "MADANG", "BOROKO", "ADELAIDE" and "HENLEY BEACH". It is believed that the MADANG Postmarker is MA-3 which was in use from 30 May 1956 to 30 June 1977. The details in Garwood & Heward Page 11 Vol. 1 Part 2. states:- "MA-3...The bars are 2mm long before and after MADANG and there is a dot between PAPUA and NEW." On this cover (reverse) the bars are 2mm on the left and 3mm on the right of MADANG and there is a dash between PAPUA and NEW
