Press Release - Wednesday, September 21, 2005
Michael Eastick & Associates P/L, developers of Smart Sales Software, are pleased to announce that the Norfolk Island Philatelic Bureau has just purchased ‘Smart Sales Software’ to run their New Issue Service and Online Stamp Shop.
‘Smart Sales Software’, the computer system designed specifically for the collectables industry, has had a dedicated New Issues Service module added to the program to handle all the requirements for this type of operation. Stock can be entered simply and easily, then offered in as many different variants as a seller requires, such as corner blocks of 4, CTO sets and gutter strips. From this it is just a few clicks to process New Issue Customers wants list for any issue(s) at anytime.
Complete tracking of original stock levels, cross-checked to orders processed allows for the printing of various reports showing such things as stock sold, to whom and when, and current stock on hand, amongst others. Along with this is the ability to take pre-payments from customers against future New Issues, allowing the user the ability to view accounts that would exceed current credit limits set for individual customers before processing those orders.
With the extremely powerful inbuilt ‘Smart Sales Software Report Designer’ it is possible to produce and customise just about any detailed report a user of the system would require, including pictures, pricing and discount structures where applicable. In fact, in-store flyers, hanging displays (including quality images), brochures and up to date price lists are just a few clicks away.
The aim of the program is to remove as many time consuming processes in a business’s day to day operations, thereby allowing the user to progress onto more productive activities. Within the New Issues module, ‘Smart Sales Software’ does this very efficiently by using simple to setup cross-referenced tables between customers and products. Incorporating all of this into the existing very comprehensive accounting system, already built into ‘Smart Sales Software’ allows for up to date stock levels and customer wants, as well as accounting/financial information to be at your fingertips at anytime that you require. Included within the system is full incoming and outgoing recording of GST data.
Of course, the Online Web Shop will be able to offer the New Issue items, including any variations, online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Mass marketing by personalised (per customer) emails, faxes and letters are also built into the system, allowing for very cost effective marketing of the products you have to sell.
Along with this is the ability of ‘Smart Sales Software’ to manage the non-product content of your website such as articles, stories, news or such things as Terms & Conditions pages.
It is also a simple process to incorporate secure online payments from your Ebay buyers, bringing them directly into your customer database as well as introducing them to your products via the online shop. Customers using Paypal can also be directed through the system for the same results.
All of this can be done very easily using this Windows based program. Along with the New Issues module Smart Sales Software also has a Live Room and Online Auction module for those users who run auctions, covering everything required for a postal bid sale through to a live room auction, including full control of commission rates, bidding steps and financial data for vendors.
