Australia horse racing photo postcard Whittier 1922 &1925 Caulfield Cup winner. Printed in the late 1920s and sold for a 1/-. White mark approximately 2.5 cm from the back of the jockeys head. In 1922 Whittier, owned by Chaffey, ran second in the Caulfield Guineas, and he followed that performance by winning the Caulfield Cup a week later. Whittier repeated his Caulfied Cup victory in 1925, and Manfred was successful in 1926. Whittier and Manfred were Victoria Derby winners in 1922 and 1925 respectively.
